Nutty nuptuals guarantee you a laugh...

I have watched a few of Robin Williams more recent releases and been less than impressed, forget them, Robin is back to his best in this very funny, often hilarious, skit about the vagaries of modern proposals, the inlaws and the ceremony. An excellent marriage of laughter and romance in perfect measure. It definately hit the spot for me, a great light funny watch that I definately recommend.

Meet The Parents... Only Meet The Rev!!
Thomas Perkins from Plymouth, Devon, England, 7th February, 2008
This is the best way I can describe this film... It's Meet The Parents only its 'Meet The Reverand' It is brilliant and hilarious and Robin Williams is great as usual. I wasn't sure about it at first but once you get into it it's really good and funny and it has a really lovely ending.

Why?
musclecat from from Loughton, 27th February, 2008
This is a fairly average and occasionally amusing film, but I would like to comment on one particular scene. All through the film the intention is to show that Robin Williams' reverand character is a bit off the wall, but essentially has the best interests of the couple at heart. However, one scene to me is very irresponsible. This is where he gets Mandy Moore to drive blindfold while her fiancee instructs her which way to go. Ok, this is a comedy and it is out for cheap laughs, but I found this to be distasteful. Those who have had a relative injured through careless driving would be incensed by the sheer stupidity of the scene. And you can hardly say that Robin Williams' character had the couple's best interests at heart! He could have killed them or ended up in prison.
Funny so-so

Typical Robin Williams film, easy to watch, light and funny. I like films where you don't have to think too much to watch that way I can just switch off. I liked this film. :-)
