A disturbingly funny movie!

Sarah from Cambridge, 30th December, 2005

Suspend intellect and sensibility and you'll get a lot out of watching this film! It has typical American Pie moments which guys will enjoy but some of the more gross-out scenes left me (as a girly!) feeling a bit sick! Its quite predictable, pretty ott and very low-brow but it also contains a great use of home-movie footage, a couple of really cute male leads and some very funny scenes. 'Blokes' will love it, their girlfriends will guiltily find it funny and then deny that they did!

Good, but felt longer

Mbub from Westbury, Wilts, 16th August, 2007

A guy turns to his brother to help him find a woman with silly results. If you are into sex jokes, toilet humour and bad love than this is the film for you. I watched it based on the trailer, but like alot of films nowadays the trailer showed the best bits. Funny in parts, but nothing to write home about.

Why, why, why?

Spencer from Staffordshire, 10th March, 2007

I cannot grasp how any human can rate this higher than 1 star. The plot, script and acting were horrid and comparisons between this shocker and American Pie begin and end with the hugely miscast Chris Klein. The slight appeal that his character in American Pie had was that he was a wholesome, decent and honest everyman. A Stifler-esque character is something that he just can't pull off. This is the last time I take a recommendation from my retarded co-worker. Vile!!

The long laugh

Stokie from from Stoke-on-Trent, 11th June, 2007

If you like American pie you will love this. This film had me in stitches from start to end, and has you thinking (if you are a bloke) if only!!!!! A great film for a Weekend laugh.

Not priority viewing

Stotty from from Wiltshire, 8th August, 2008

I don't recall laughing much, if at all during this film, and I do have a sense of humour. When it had finished, I was glad, glad that I'd gotten it over with. Both brothers are totally opposite and predictably, they both need to become more like each other in order to become 'better' people. It's worth a watch just so you don't have to ever again, you can cross it off your list afterwards.

The Long Weekend

mark29 from from Dunbar, 3rd August, 2008

Predictable comedy along the lines of 'American Pie' but still pretty funny and worth watching if only once.

Slightly below average

russianout from from Midlothian, 1st July, 2008

I judge comedies by the amount of laughing out loud I do when I watch them. Watching this, I managed a few smiles, but no real laughs, so I've rated it a 2 star. Not a bad film but just not that funny , the nerdy brother is a bit too nerdy and the brother who is successful with girls, just a bit too successful. You can see the ending coming a mile off.
