The Blood Beast Terror
(1968)

In investigating a series of murders, Inspector Quennell finds himself at the door of entomologist, Dr Mallinger. Will he be prepared for what lies beyond?

Peter Cushing considered this clumsy chiller the worst picture he ever made. In many respects he was right. He's the policeman investigating vampiristic murders carried out by a giant death's-head moth masquerading as the daughter of a renowned Victorian entomologist. Well, it must have seemed a good idea at the time! Vernon Sewell's direction barely papers over the pedestrian cracks in an equally moth-eaten screenplay decked out with a catalogue of dodgy horror clichés.
