Death in the Clouds review

A Customer from London England, 15th April, 2004

Excellent film. David Suchet is the ultimate Hercule Poirot. His presence completes what was, in any case, an excellent detective story.

Good, but not quite classic Agatha Christie

noirpanther from , 13th August, 2006

Agatha Christie pulls some cheating yet entertaining sleight-of-hand writing in this story, which doesn't really hang together logically but which her skill, and the movie, makes enjoyable anyway.

The Belgian sleuth does it again

A Customer from Sittingbourne, Kent, 31st January, 2005

As ever, David Suchet's portrayal of Hercule Poirot is an absolute joy to watch. This story demonstrates Poirot (and Suchet) at his best. A classic 1930s 'whodunnit' where the crime istelf occurs right under Poirot's nose onboard a plane. Great stuff!

Classy

EvertonDave from from Prescot, 18th October, 2008

There is not a lot you can say about Agatha Christie's detective Hercule Poirot, without littering the review with spoilers; so it is enough to say that this film was like all the other David Suchet 'Poirot' films. An excellent and classy whodunnit.

Poirot and Japp go to Paris

Richard Polley from Manchester, 13th December, 2007

Leading actors give it all they've got. Sets are terrific. Cathryn Harrison was great as Lady Marbury, playing her as impetuous but vulnerable and endearing. Nice plot about how the murder was done (yes, there is a murder in it) but the pace could be a little too relaxed for some people's tastes.
