Feel good hokem

Crime Traveller was a good try at a sci fi series from the BBC in '97, that sadly never made it to a second season. However Crime Traveller is definatly worth a viewing, and if you can ignore the fact that you will probably guess 'whodunit' before the halfway point and some huge plot holes its fab laid back watching.

Detective show with a time travel twist

In this show it doesn't matter if there were no witnesses to the crimes as the detectives are able to travel back in time to watch it happen themselves (or try to stop it). The time travel paradoxes involved in the detective work adds a new dimension and makes this an interesting change to the usual detective show.

Good Idea, Bad Show

The idea for this show sounds pretty good, Science chick uses her dads work to build a time machine in her living room. Solves crimes not by changing things in the past, but observing things and thus, find evidence. Problem is, the script is poor, mainly the dialogue, people just don't speak like that. Maybe later episodes will be better, but as there doesn't seem to be many episodes, seems like the TV execs didn't like it much either.

Not entire series

There are 2 episodes on each disc. The second disc contains episodes from the middle or end of the series (based on references from the characters). Not sure why, it's a shame. Good show, I'd love to see the rest.
